Who is responsible?

GYMNASIUM is an app by FRANTZ AGENIS II in Québec, Canada. FRANTZ AGENIS II is responsible for protecting personal information associated with this service. For a privacy question, request or complaint, contact contact@frantzagenis.com.

This policy covers the current edition of the app, which has no accounts or managed synchronization. It also explains what happens when you export your notebook, visit our website or contact us.

What the app stores

On your device, the notebook may contain your workouts and their dates, exercises, loads, repetitions, durations, machine settings, notes, schedule and goals. If you enter them, it also stores your first name, birth year or previously entered age, height, sex or additional description, dated weigh-ins and target bodyweight.

This information is used to display your programme, record workouts, calculate and show progress, and apply your choices. App language and preferences are also stored on the device. Your profile, weigh-ins and long-term goals are optional.

What the app does not transmit

The current edition does not create a GYMNASIUM account or send the notebook to our servers. FRANTZ AGENIS II cannot remotely access your workouts, notes, profile or weigh-ins.

The app includes no advertising system, trackers, usage analytics or GYMNASIUM crash-reporting service. It does not access Apple Health/HealthKit, your contacts, microphone, camera or photo library. Exercise images are bundled with the app. In versions offering gym reminders, your location is used only when you ask to save the gym where you are. One location and proximity radius are stored on this iPhone, separately from the notebook and its exports. If you then enable these reminders and allow Always location access, iOS can report arrival and departure, including while the screen is locked. The app keeps only the last reminder time to avoid repeats; it records no route history and does not send this location to GYMNASIUM.

Your choices and reminders

You can decline notifications and still use the notebook. If you allow them, iOS schedules workout, weigh-in and rest reminders locally. Their content may appear on the lock screen depending on your iOS settings. Versions offering gym reminders also use local notifications, without automatically starting or stopping the timer. The live workout display can show its name, duration and set count on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island; it includes no notebook notes or weigh-ins.

You can change these choices in GYMNASIUM → Settings and in your iPhone’s notification settings. Hiding goals or the Weight tab changes what is displayed; it does not erase previously recorded information. For gym reminders, you can disable monitoring or remove the location under Settings → Gym reminders → Forget this gym. Erasing the notebook does not remove this separate setting. You can also revoke location permissions in iOS settings. The live workout display can be disabled under GYMNASIUM → Settings → Lock Screen.

Backups and exports

Depending on your Apple settings, iCloud or computer backups of your device may include GYMNASIUM data. Apple and you manage these backups; they do not give us access to your notebook.

An export you request contains the notebook, including any profile details, notes and weigh-ins you entered. GYMNASIUM does not encrypt this JSON file. You choose where to store it and whom to share it with. Your chosen provider or recipient then handles that copy under its own terms. Import reads only the file you select and replaces the notebook after confirmation.

Choosing a folder in Settings → Automatic backups enables copies after changes while the app is open. Daily, weekly and manual choices are also available. No transfer is enabled before this choice. The folder may be in iCloud Drive, a compatible Files provider or iPhone storage. The app has no account with this provider and does not receive your sign-in credentials.

Automatic copies use the same complete JSON as a manual export. The app stores folder permission and backup receipts locally, outside the exported notebook and excluded from device backups. Ten recent copies created with this setting are kept; modified or inaccessible copies may remain longer. Cloud uploads and storage quota are managed by your selected provider. A successful folder write does not yet confirm upload to its servers.

Disabling backups or forgetting a folder stops future writes without deleting existing files. Backups are not synchronization between devices. Use Settings → Automatic backups → Forget folder to remove the app’s saved authorization, or choose another folder.

Access, correction and deletion

You can view and edit your information in the app and obtain a copy through Settings → Export my log. Use Settings → Erase my log to remove the current notebook’s training data and its internal recovery copies. The app’s confirmation explains what will be erased.

Local data remains until you erase it or delete the app. Deleting the app removes its local storage; offloading it in iOS keeps its data. Previously created exports and Apple backups must be deleted separately from the relevant location or service. Restoring a backup may restore old data. We cannot remotely delete or recover a notebook that exists only on your device.

When updating from an account-based version, notebooks already on this iPhone can be recovered without signing in. Recovering an older copy first preserves the current notebook separately. Preserved copies can be individually deleted under Automatic backups → Previous notebooks on this iPhone. Erasing the current notebook disables automatic backups but does not delete provider files or preserved notebooks.

This update does not delete legacy Firebase accounts or any data collected by previous versions. Contact support for requests about that historical data. This version no longer downloads it or sends new data to that service.

Apple services

Apple handles installation, any purchases, backups and diagnostics you choose to share under its own policies and settings. GYMNASIUM does not receive your payment card number. Apple may provide the developer with aggregate sales or usage reports and diagnostics depending on applicable sharing choices; the app does not automatically attach your notebook to these reports.

Links to this policy, programme resources or support open when you choose them. The app does not include your notebook in these links.

Our website is hosted by Webflow. When you visit, Webflow, its delivery networks and web resource providers may process your IP address, browser information and request logs needed to display, secure and operate the pages. Hosting and communications may involve processing outside Québec or Canada. These exchanges do not provide access to the notebook stored in the app. External websites and services have their own privacy policies.

Support and privacy requests

For help with GYMNASIUM, a backup or privacy, email contact@frantzagenis.com. Include the app version, your iPhone model and the problem encountered. You do not need to send weigh-ins, personal notes or a complete export; conceal personal details in screenshots when that is sufficient.

If you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to handle your request and follow-up, then delete them when no longer needed, unless an applicable retention obligation requires otherwise. The email service participates in this processing. We do not sell this information or use it for targeted advertising.

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of information you have sent us, withdraw consent to optional processing, or submit a complaint using the same address. We handle requests under applicable rules and may ask for the information needed to verify that a request concerns you. You may also contact Québec’s Commission d’accès à l’information.

Protection and policy updates

The notebook uses the app’s private storage and iOS file protection. The security of your device, backups and shared files also depends on your settings and chosen services. No method guarantees absolute protection.

The date on this page identifies the policy version. Any future account or managed-backup feature will require updated privacy and App Store disclosures before activation. Significant changes will be presented in the app, and consent will be requested where required.
